Jennifer "Jennie" W. Pickett

Jennifer “Jennie” W. Pickett was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 2001. Jennie grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a B.A. degree in 1998.  She then attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and graduated with a J.D. degree in 2001. While in law school, Jennie was a member of the National Moot Court Team and served as Assistant Justice of the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board.  She currently is a member of the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama. Jennie is also a member of the Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations. She serves on the Bar Bulletin Committee for the Birmingham Bar Association and frequently writes articles pertaining to Medicare/CMS issues.   Her areas of practice include insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, workers’ compensation and products liability litigation.  She is married and has two children, teaches 2nd grade Sunday School at her Church and serves on the board for the Early Learning Center.
