Leslie M. Hand obtained a B.A. degree in political science from Birmingham-Southern College, where she completed the Honors Program curriculum and was published in the Southern Academic Review.  Leslie obtained her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, where she was selected Best Member on the Moot Court Board by her peers.  In 1992, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky commissioned Leslie as a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels in recognition of her civic and charitable work.

During her 25 years in practice, Leslie’s practice has varied from pharmaceutical litigation, MDL litigation, product liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and environmental litigation to defending architects and engineers, construction defect claims, and other contract/commercial claims.  Leslie is admitted to practice law in Alabama and Mississippi, and has successfully tried and defended numerous cases throughout the circuit courts of Alabama and Mississippi.  She is also admitted to practice in all Alabama and Mississippi federal district courts.

Leslie is married to Alan Hand and has two daughters, Madeline and Elizabeth.  When she is not working, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and volunteering for various charitable causes.
